Alumni
Getting to know Gallatin’s alumni
One of Gallatin’s greatest assets is our alumni body, composed of more than 6,000 graduates located worldwide. At Gallatin, we view the time spent as a student as only the beginning of a lifelong affiliation that provides mutually beneficial rewards. Alumni often return to Gallatin in a variety of ways: to mentor students, participate in school happenings, and to help celebrate more than 30 years of achievements as a community. Graduates who continue their relationship with Gallatin also enjoy a support network and a sense of identity after they leave NYU. We are the link that keeps alumni in touch with professors and former classmates, as well as with other NYU graduates with whom they have shared experiences. Throughout the school year, we invite our alumni back for informative and fun events, ranging from networking opportunities to lectures and performances. Because students will spend the majority of their affiliation with Gallatin as graduates, alumni are always integral to the life of the School. A Note to alumni

As alumni, you are part of a community of scholars who go on to diverse academic and professional feats. Gallatin’s achievements are due, in large part, to your successes. Gallatin is as strong, productive, and accomplished as its alumni, and we delight in watching you succeed and flourish. Please stay in touch with your alma mater and take advantage of all of the Gallatin resources available to you.

Join the Gallatin Alumni Listserv
The Gallatin Alumni Listserv is a private list to which we distribute news, announcements, job postings, and information on upcoming performances and events from your fellow Gallatin alumni. It acts as a virtual community bulletin board where you can keep each other informed of events and projects not necessarily sponsored by Gallatin or NYU. All alumni are encouraged to sign up and take part in this opportunity for communication and information sharing. To subscribe, send a blank email to join-gallatin-alumni@lists.nyu.edu. Once you are a subscriber, you can post an announcement by sending an email to gallatin.alumni@nyu.edu.
The Gallatin Alumni Listserv is monitored by the Gallatin Office of Alumni Relations. Messages should be items of interest to the alumni community, and listserv rules are available upon sign-up. After sign-up, you may unsubscribe at any time. Questions? Write to gallatin.alumni@nyu.edu.
