Laura Ciolkowski's teaching and research interests include feminist theory and cultural Studies, 19th- and 20th-century literature and Culture, travel literature, gender and the body, genealogies of feminism, and feminist activism. Her scholarly work has been published in a range of journals, including:

Novel: A Forum on Fiction and Victorian Literature and Culture . In addition to her scholarly research, Laura is a writer and book critic whose articles and reviews have appeared in
